What handsets work with a 308 Easaphone?

I just bought a house that came with an operational Panasonic 308 Easaphone. I would love to set up handsets in some rooms to use as an intercom - we don’t use a landline so no need there. I can’t figure out exactly what handsets are compatible. Do newer Panasonic cordless phones work with it? I’ve seen mentions that the phone needs to be a KX line, but those seem to all be old school office lines, definitely don’t want those.

You can use slt/analog/2 wire/pots on this relic. The 4 way RJ 11 from the system should be terminated red green (pins 2/3) yellow black (pins 1/4) and it is the red green that is your analog pair. Programming wise there is a switch inside the cabinet that slides over and then you program using the 1st port with a keyphone (kxt series handset with a display)

You can use any analogue phone ( Plain old Telephone.....domestic) they can be a Panasonic cordless if you want. Each line use the Red and green pair and need to be connected to a Master Line jack such as a 2/1a( needs the capacitor to enable ring circuit) across pins 2 and 5.

Panasonic use KX-T for just about anything to do with phones - even the latest consumer phones.

According to the manual you need a KX-T30830 display phone for programming although this may not be needed if you just want to run as interested. There may be others but I've never seen a definitive list of phones across all their PBXs.

The extra pair is used for digital phones so don't connect this to analogue especially UK phones which has 2 pairs wired.
