I'm trying to connect a BCM to 2 Panasonic Systems. I've managed to place calls to one and received calls from the other but Panasonic seems to use a system ID that is presented before the call is placed or received. I'm curious as to whether that can be done on the BCM and what order the BCM expects information to be received on the VOIP trunks. Currently using BCM Monitor, I saw that I was presented with the source extension, followed by some characters that gave me a question mark and then the target extension number (eg. 304..?212) Any ideas as to Panasonic possible outbound formats and BCM's sending a unit ID code (eg 16) and then followed by the desired extension number. Also what is the order of incoming data that the BCM expects on the VOIP trunks? H323 Trunks. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

The BCM will want just the DNIS digits which will correspond to a target line.

Can you call from the BCM to the Panasonic?

I don't know much about Panasonic systems, and didn't even know they could do IP trunks until I read your post.

I managed to get tied in with both Panasonic Systems. Apparently the have a 4 port or 8 port card that convert the IP to something similar to a fractional PRI on their end. I can call them and they can call me and both of us can access each others dial tones. Call display is shown on the Norstar when they call in, but when calling them they don't get the set extension or name. Apparently when we ran a trace, he sees the info, but his system gets confusted by the special character "€" that he receives in the dial string sent out by the BCM? I don't know if there is any resolution to that? Any ideas anybody?
