I want to print a statement for a customer who needs it in excel format.

I have done it by using the AROPNFIL (although it prints invoices that have long been paid for some reason - not a big problem because I take care of that with a date selection).

My problem is I want to list the PO number on the report and I linked to the OEHDRHST file but I get NO PO numbers when I run the report. I'm not SUPER technical so keep that in mind when answering. THANKS!

What version of Macola? ES or Progression? SQL or Pervasive? You should never ask a question without this info.

The AROPNFIL contains fully paid records forever, or until you purge fully paid items.

Is the built in crystal report statement not sufficient? Like any crystal report you can export it to excel.

The PO # is in the reference field, you do not need to link to anything to get it.

Hi Mariegee,
What version of Macola are yourunning and what are you using to produce this report ?

Thank you both for trying to help me. I am using Macola 7.7 SQL and Crystal Reports for Macola 8.5.

I am just trying to get the PO number to print on the report - very simple report: Invoice number and date, and amount.

I don't see any PO field in the AROPNFIL. One of you said it was in the REFERENCE file...I don't know what that means.

I'm not super technical...just a report writer and accounting manager! THANKS SO MUCH.

Thank you BOTH - I was able to find the PO in the reference field of the AROPNFIL and my report is complete.

This is an awesome site and I'm going to ask my boss to make a contribution as I'm sure I'll be using it again.[2thumbsup]
