Your question implies that Microsoft allows people to read its code. Microsoft is not an open source company. The only viable question to ask would be, "What is the name of the method that is used in VBA to make the Word application print?"
I do not enjoy sounding so presumptuous. I am just trying to help... Are you trying to install Word manually?
I'm not trying to install Word but trying to resolve a problem maybe you could help me out. Someone in the office is having a problem printing from word. I thought that if word used a dll to print I would replace that file with one off of another workstation or the installation disk.
When you try to print from word you get a "Sub or Function not defined" error message. So thats a given that there's a problem with code somewhere.
Now if I log on to the network as anyone else word prints fine. I resolved an issue similar to this in exel where the culprit was a corrupt xlb file under someone profile. This time I'm all out of ideas. If you could suggest something I would be greatful. IT Professional
