What features does a legend R7 have for a hotel application? 2

Customer had a very old mitel. I am replacing with a legend R7. Looked in docs for R7 and only thing I really noticed talking about hotel is extension status. Can I setup a wake up service? Thanks in advance

Use a DSS with your Operator phone, and use Reminder Service - look up the operation in the manual, or download the manual from

Well, it is VERY POWERFUL for Hotel/Motel operation.

It can restrict ROOMS from Dialing out when some on checks out. (ESS STATE) - AND - with the touch of a button or 2, the Front Desk can UNRESTRICT the room, once some one checks in.

It can allow the clean up crew to notify the Front Desk when a Room is cleaned up. (But the extension will still be RESTRICTED)

It can (by Labeling) show how the room is equiped. (Label an extension as "2 KING", or "1 DBL", etc.

It can be used to do a MANUAL NOTIFICATION of Messages for a given ROOM.....

Wow Merlinman, I had not thought of the labeling/room type application before. It is so obvious when you see it. I am making notes for the futute...oh shoot, probably won't get any more chances at new Magix.

Well, you could go to LIMON COLORADO and fix that mess!

But it is QUITE COOL as to how it handles HOTEL/MOTEL.

But there was one time when a particular FEDERAL Client wanted both HOTEL/MOTEL & ACD (Group Calling), well, too bad, only one mode works at a time.
