What does TMDI stand for? 1

I have searched all the docs and cannot find what the acronym TMDI actually stands for.
Can anyone help?

Found it in the Features and Services Guide 2 of 3. Under Inventory Reporting

TMDI = T1 Multi-purpose digital interface
