Windows 7 is so much fun. After my partner joined his new laptop to our home network, I am now getting entries like this in Event Viewer:
The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer ASUSN61 that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{0501ABA4-650A-4495-B0BE-BFB3A1D333A9}. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.
The funny thing is, the "source" on the event log is listed as "bowser" (no typo!)
On top of that, Windows Explorer tanked on me for no apparent reason.
Application 'C:\Windows\explorer.exe' (pid 3780) cannot be restarted - Application SID does not match Conductor SID..

Should I just toss this 64bit system out the window and go back to something that works, like XP?
I've really reached my limit on this.
Many thanks in advance.
