hi all,
after sending a mail, via (PHP-script) using sendmail
(at least it should) running on my server (redhat6.2)
I'm getting this, when I use pine to look in the root-
mailbox
/var/spool/mail/root

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
berges@netcomander.com
(reason: 501 5.1.8 <apache@srv03.corn.intern>... Domain of sender address
apache@srv03.corn.intern does not exist)

by the way, the mail never reached my mailbox
does this mean, that I have to setup a DNS-server?

I'd be glad for a hint, so thanks in advance

markus

Yes, you need to set up your dns 'mx' record so the world can find your mail server just like it finds your webserver. They can share the same ip address.
