what does pppd options error 2 mean?

Hi
I'm trying to connect to the internet via BT openworld using there supplied usb modem.

the modem is detected fine but i can not seem to connect. I'm using suse 8. The kinternet program keeps on saying options error. I have downloaded speedmgnt prog.

Does anyone have any experience with this.

BTW once this is solved I will be 100% linux.
