I'm looking for the total number of mailboxes and I see two set of numbers in the "Manage Subscribers" form.
Local Subscriber Mailboxes 100 and Total Subscribers 110. What is the difference between the two?

Ok I clicked on the link and got this.

Local Subscriber Mailboxes column: The Local Subscriber Mailboxes column displays the number of Local Subscriber Mailboxes in use on the Modular Messaging system.

Total Subscribers column: The Total Subscribers column displays the total number of local subscribers administered on the local system. The Total Subscribers column displays the number of remote subscribers that the local system recognizes, either through remote updates or administered remote subscribers.

So that means Total Subscribers can also include virtual or remote extensions?

Get 2 AAMs. Configure VPIM between them so you can have distribution lists including "managers" on both VM systems. Or "team leads" on both systems. Broadcasts and distribution lists can include members of both standalone voicemail systems.

You can have many AAMs in a full mesh with each pointing to one another, or a Message Networking in the middle and have it be hub-and-spoke to the rest of the VPIM capable voicemails.

Users with storage local on your system are "local" and those on other systems are "remote
