Hi, in the preference, under type, "apply leadig to entire paragraph" is UNCHECKED.

what does this mean?

Why is it unchecked, what happens when its checked...?

I did play with checking and unchecking to see what happens, I can't tell the differnece...I hight light a paragraph, and apply leading, unchecking or checking gives me the same thing.

Thanks.

Nicole

Leading is the space that is inbetween lines.

If you apply leading to entire paragraphs then you don't need to select the whole paragraph to apply a set leading to the entire paragraph.

If you don't apply leading to an entire paragraph then you can have different leading for each line within the same paragraph.

This is covered in the Help Files.

It would be helpful to get a book on InDesign, perhaps Real World InDesign CS3 would be a nice object to have on your desk. I know I have one.

Thank you again for always being there to help.

I've learned so much.
