Excuse my ignorance I'm new to this but what exactly does the Disconnect Supervision give you or do???

Tells the system to release the line when the far party hangs up.

Typically, how long should the DS take?

My CICS 6.1 takes about 30 - 45 seconds to release a call on my copper lines and way too long for my VoIP lines (I assume the VoIP issue is with the adaptor).

Any suggestions?

In my experience, if the CO is sending the DS as they should, it should only take about 5 seconds for the system to terminate the call.

Hey Achuchman, have you tried changing from Long CO to Short CO to see if there is a difference?
Have you tried taking a line off the system and test directly off demar w/your butt set and cell test call?
Also, check out and query CPC Tester..pretty neat little device.

I would contact your local CO provider to verify the DS on the lines. It shouldn't take that long to detect the far party hanging up.
