It's rings as if it's an Intercom call because it comes in on the Intercom button.
For instance reception does not have those lines on their phone and AA is not programmed to pick them up so it DRT's to the "Prime Set"
Card 1:
Line 001 = Line 1
Line 002 = Line 2
Line 003 = Line 3
Line 004 = Line 4
Card 2:
Line 031 = Line 5
Line 032 = Line 6
Line 033 = Line 7
Line 034 = Line 8
DRT = Delayed Ring Transfer
DRT to Prime = Y or N
DRT Ring Count = How many rings to a device before it DRT's
DRT programming is on under System/Feature settings.
Under each line in Line programming is where you set the "Prime Set" DN.
None = nowhere
221 (default) = reception
You can bump up the ring count if there is a conflict.
It's hand if they are AA 24/7 and vmail crashes then lines will DRT to reception.
Similar conflict can apply for Transfer Callback
It sounds like they have extra lines terminated to the phone system but not programmed.
Have a tech test those ports on the KSU for dialtone.
