What does db2drdat do, trace data stream for DRDA users or all users?

Hi All,
Although the book says db2drdat "Allows the user to capture the DRDA data stream exchanged between a DRDA Application Requestor (AR) and the DB2 UDB DRDA Application Server (AS) " , it actually captures data stream from local users, not only DRDA users. The cmd I used is:
db2drdat on -r -s;
db2drdat off -t=drdat.log;

Am I misunderstanding the concept of DRDA? Thanks for advice.
