What does Cognos lack?

This would be an interesting question, i would like to know what Cognos lacks that are there in other BI tools and what is there anything in Cognos that can be improved to its best.

Cognos integrates with its own OLAP server and not with other vendors - at least not without heavy customization.

Not really possible beacuse your question is vague. It is tough to summarize such a large topic - so I only listed some of the main points. And these are subjective to many conditions - so list what your requirements are specifically and it can be easier to narrow down what some of the main differentiators to your needs are.
