I am working on SunFire V880 that has a Sun GigaSwift ethernet controller that
works at 10Mbs/100Mbs/1000Mbs. The earlier ethernet cards like the QFE
card use "ndd" to query for the parameters in use on the card, but
this new one uses "netstat -k ce0" to report the current in-use parameters.
Unfortunately, the netstat manual page was not updated to list what all of the
parameters mean.
One of the software vendors is insisting that all interfaces be set to as fast as
possible and full-duplex mode, but I cannot tell what mode this card is in.
Does anyone know what a link_duplex value of 2 means?
Thanks,
Mike Beirne
