What do you use for RMA's?

I was just wanting to get an idea what others use for RMA's. We have actually purchased the RMA module with Macola, but it doesn't quite seem to fit what we were wanting just right. Is there any third party add-ons you might recommend? Maybe a unique way you use the Macola RMA module?

Macola does not have an RMA module per se. Macola does have RMA functionality as a part of the Advanced Distribution module.

The Macola RMA functionality includes multiple RMA reason codes, then you select an option to return and reship the prioduct, re-ship the product only (no return), or issue credit.

If a product is returned, you can inspect it, restock it if it is determined that there are no problems with the product, or dissassemble the product (Using the POP module) and restock just the components, or just some of the components.

In addition to this there are several reports including unreceived RMAs so you can see hwat your total exposure is at any given point in time.

Hi Don,

I may have Kevin (works w/ RGA's here) to give you a call. He knows more of what he wants as far as added features, etc.

What we are thinking about doing for now, is continuing to use the RMA program he wrote, and moving to Macola's RMA system or a possible third party system after we upgrade to ES.
