what do you guys think about the Tek-Tips login I made with flash. What do you think of the colors?

AND MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION

What color do you think the background is. Grey or Black?

Pretty cool! It's a bit black and white for my liking but I love the colours "onclick".

Love the main pic, excellent work.

Nice job...not to thrilled with the colors for the text mouseovers...its a bit too blue, and kinda hard to read when the background is way black...I think the gray bg color might look nice, or maybe something in middle of gray and black...
Love the onClick colors... I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Hi... Awesome work man, the only thing I noticed was when you click on any link the date disappears causing the title to drop down a bit then is pushed back up when the date reappears seconds later.

I'm not sure why the date does that. I'll try to fix it.

This has actaully become a site check. All I wanted was you guys to check the Flash Movie for now - BUT - thanks for your input. In 2-3 weeks I will have the site next to completed and will ask your opinions again.

Heh heh... I just skimmed your original post and saw the link and thought it was a site check.

The tek-tips flash login looks great. One thing: I'm assuming that anyone thats a tek-tips member can login there. I don't know if you have it totally up and running, but it doesn't recognise my password. Since your site is still under construction, i'm sure your aware of this.

Can you please check that Tek-Tips login again. Please login using it. I had to change something, it was set for the Tek-Tips partening login which is slightly different. Does it work for you now?

Hey, it's still doing the same thing. Address bar looks like this:

And on the "Incorrect password" page that loads... at the top theres:

H=
P=example

Don't know if this is any help.

Check that you are entering the correct password.

For you to get that screen and URL then you are entering the password incorrectly. That is the correct format for the URL.

Your URL is WRONG. Why are there 2 ("?" marks). There should only be 1. I checked my flash movie source and it is fine. Please try it again. Be sure of the CASE.

I just tried to login also and recieved the same error. Only when I click login though, join works fine. That narrows it down I may not get it the 1st or 2nd time,
but how sweet that 15th time can be.

I have no idea why it won't let me sign in... it's still doing it, and the url i posted was copied and pasted to here... all i changed was my password. My case is right and I've tried my home and work computer and the same thing happens on both.
