Guys,

I have just designed a website where our customers can order online ( no credit cards) and check stock levels, etc. I tailored this towards our current customers - all IE users. So the site only works on IE5 or greater. Please do me a favour and check it out. Let me know what you think or if you find any errors. I'm not a graphic designer nor did I have to option to use one so I had to design the site myself.

Give me you opinions please:

Just click on the ICA Demo link at the bottom of the page. Mise Le Meas,

Mighty :)

Very nice design, very clean and plenty of white space, easy on the eye. One thing I didn't like very much was the animated gif used to let you know the demo was loading, is this anywhere else? The whole site is very sleek but this kinda ruins it as it's very 'chunky'. Just my opinion though.

Again, nice site my friend...... funkymonk B-)

Thanks funkymonk.
I am not too mad about htat gif either. I'll probably remove it as it is not visible for too long anyway. Mise Le Meas,

Mighty :)

Very nice design!

But there's a small problem (I use IE5); when I move the cursor over the "Help and Information" and "Clearstream.ie" links, the web page begins to do a shaking up-and-down motion, and a scrollbar momentarily appears to the right.

Otherwise it looks great!

Let me know what you think of mine - I designed it for IE5 and Netscape 4.7 (which I'm forced to use). I recently heard that there were problems with it in IE4, and have tried to correct them.

cactus1000,

I like the design - especially the navigation on the index page. However, it did take over a minute to load. Lot of people won't like that. Also, when you get into the inner pages (I checked out the Alumni and Faculty pages), I think that you could use the space a little better for the navigation on the left. A vertical scrollbar appears for the left navigation frame at 1024x768 - but it looks like this wouldn't appear if if got rid of the blank space. As it is , I can see all the navigation options and there is no need to scrool - yet I still have a scrollbar.

But these are just minor points. I like the design. Good Job!! Mise Le Meas,

Mighty :)

Nice clean look! Very good job overall!

I would remove the line on the left side of the page and move the text to the left margin (my thoughts only) for an even cleaner look. I would also add a line below the nav bar at the bottom of the page as the lines appear to be "unfinished" by sitting there without the line.

In addition, on your login page, I noticed the word "customized" is misspelled.

pholwell,

It all depends where mighty is from..

I am in Scotland and that is the correct spelling here!!

It is just one of the changes beetween english and the US.

You say Color we say Colour. We say Centre you say Center.

Hope this helps Wullie

I'm guessing Ireland.

Canadians spell it with a 'Z' as well.

Nice design, I presume you junked the animated gif, since I couldn't find one.

Guys,

A few new points on this post since my last check. Bentley22, yes I did get rid of the animated Gif although it is still lingering there somewhere depending on certain options chosen. By the way, how did you know it was Ireland - was it the ClearStream.ie??

pholwell,

Yes, us non-Americans spell things CORRECTLY - as Wullie kindly pointed out. Don't really know why the differences are there but they exist nonetheless. You can't spell and you have your dates displayed in crazy ways - what's up with you Americans?? Only kiddin!!!

Thanks for the pointers boys (or Girls?????) Mise Le Meas,

Mighty :)
