My understanding is this:
If you go the Oracle route, forget about MCSD,MCAD and do the Oracle thing, looking forward to continuing on with Java.
If you go the MS route, go for MCSD, MCDBA and then a web certificate.
Does this sound correct to you? And, if so, in your opinion is one of these routes better than the other? I mean I have four kids to send to college, the oldest is 13 (so it's right around the corner)...you know what I'm saying: is the prospect of making more money one of these over the other, or it is just a question of doing a good job in either one.
