Just wondering if any of you have used this board. What do you think about it? Have you had any problems with the board itself or problems with support? Thanks,

NEVER BUY A MOTHERBOARD MADE BY PC CHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those things are the biggest rip-off in the computer industry. I haven't worked with the Athlon or P3 boards from PC Chips, but our parts supplyer switched to PC Chips back with the original Pentiums and PII's. They don't work, they crash, they are forever buggy, they are unbelievably slow, and they are plain and simply put, a royal pain in the ---.

Have I gotten my point across yet? Honestly, I can't even believe they are still in business...

I'm not a big fan of PC Chips either - and I would never recommend one, even to someone on a tight budget. It's false economy to buy rubbish :)

Times are difficult for technical companies. Besides having ISO 9002 certification, they will also have to obtain certificates from Dakota 2001 and Citrix.

I've been buying motherboards from all the makers in the market. Talking of reliability, ASUS, in my small "sample space", breaks more than PC CHIPS. Why do I still buy ASUS? They are faster and, I think, the natural choice when the client is not worried about prices. If someone is on a tight budget, I recommend the MB810LMR. They may not be so fast as the MB from ASUS, FIC or ABIT, but you'll need, most of the time, a benchmark program to notice that difference.

Last but not least, it's worth to remind that the MB810LMR comes with video "on board", but has an AGP slot. I've seen people with $400 video boards comparing the performance of their system for games to the internal AGP board of the 810. Plug the sophisticated video board in the 810 before loading your favorite benchmark.
