What do these two terms mean?

Hi could someone tell me what the following terms actually mean (what are they?).

1. Multi-User System.

2. Input/output, including interuppt handling

And describe these functions of an OS:

Resources allocation and schuduling
File Management

input devices are pheripheprals which put information into the computer e.g:
mouse
keyboard
scanner
digital camera e.t.c

output devices are pheriphals that the computer gives out information to e.g
printer
monitor
speakers e.t.c

OS= OPERATING SYSTEM.....

operating systems are not as technical as it sounds....
THESE ARE SOME OS:
windows 95/98/2000
windows ME
windows XP
linux e.t.c
