What voicemail system do I need to use the Record a Call feature. I say the partner messaging rel 1.0 4 port system, but it is very expensive. Do any of the other PartnerMail modules record phone conversations?

I currently have the pc card messaging system but I have found the need to record my calls lately.

My processor is rel 4.0

Thanks for the help.

Hi kdifs,
The Partner messaging R1.0 came in at less cost that the VS R5.0. The only other thing I can recommend is a used VS R5.0 4 port. At least this will also give you outcalling for message notification as well.

keep in mind you must have at least 4 ports on the Partner Messaging to use the Record-A-Call feature.

If you only need to record calls from one station, you can plug a telephone recording adapter into the Aux. port on the bottom of the phone. Do a google on long playing tape recorder and you will find several digital recorders that come with the telephone interface and can record several hours at a time, with voice activation.
