What do I need to do C development on AIX with GCC?

I've installed GNU gcc 2.95.2.0 from Bull's freeware site, and the compiler complains about not finding the [tt]as[/tt] command. All I know it's the GNU assembler... where can I find that program?

Nope, but I'll do. thx... Now, I only hope I can find not only the source[red]![/red]... ;-)
