BRTOOLS backup produces error:
BR0109I Files will be saved by backup utility

BR0126I Unattended mode active - no operator confirmation required

BR0252E Function fopen() failed for 'cipt0365\spaceDMS.log' at location BrInitLogTouch-1

BR0253E errno 2: No such file or directory

On my UNIX servers…File exists under /oracle/<DBSID>/sapreorg

I can not find it on this windows server...

What creates the space<DBSID>.log file and what does it contain that BRTOOLS needs it for online backups?

Thanks...

You need to edit the %ORACLE_HOME%\database\initDMS.sap
The spaceDMS.log file should be in the sapreorg dir but the line in the initDMS.sap points to cipt0365\spaceDMS.log.

It should point to the path of the sapreorg directory.
