1. I have 3 computers on a secure wireless network.
2. One of my computers is being bombarded (every few minutes) by the HUB computer trying to access it. It says "A computer at (My Hub Computer's I.P. addy) has attempted to access one of your ports. TCP Port 2869.
3. I was on my Hub computer and I tried to upload some images to a website. The website errored and said that my computer at IP 98.194.112.39 (Which is NOT EVEN CLOSE to my IP address) will not allow the upload to happen. Why does that website think my IP address is something it is not? This is creeping me out.

THX!

98.194.112.39 is a Comcast IP address. Could it be your external IP address? The IP address that you find at WhatIsMyIP is likely the IP address that the website that you were trying to upload the images to picked up, especially if you're behind a firewall.

Have you tried hard booting your HUB computer and the computer that is being bombarded to see if that stops the bombardment? Shut down the computer being bombarded first and then the HUB.

Cheers.
