I have a laptop that has beeen scanned with anti virus (nothing) spyware (a few) and should be clear..

when the client opens up the internet surfs to a page no problem at all,but once the internet page requires a new page to be open it opens up blank.. for the life of me i cant sort it out any ideas please!!

@Smah and Schtek - the command netsh winsock reset catalog in the RUN BOX or CLI will do that aswell...

as mostlikely the LSPs got messed up, as Smah suggested withe the IE FIX, also I would check the HOST file with either SpyBot or HOSTER ( ...

never found out what the root of the cause but IE FIX with sp2 reload did the trick thanks all!

lol well better late than never. Solutions are always nice to know on this forum for future problems. So we appreciate you letting us know what fixed it. Glad to hear its all working now.
