what contains field "data" in labels.dbf?

Hi,

I want to include in my app a facility to let users choose what label to use. In the vfp\tools\addlabels -map there resides table 'labels' holding many 'of the shelve' label-formats of Avery.
Is there somewhere a clarification of the meaning of the content of Memofield Data?
I looked for some articles which might offer a way how to integrate my facility into an app. but with less results.
Any suggestions?

I don't think I've ever seen those values documented, but the full source for addlabel.app is in tools/xsource/xsource.zip

You could look and see what it does.

(And since you have the full source, you can build it into your app too.)

Thanks, I checked and indeed from that code I found what the memo datafield contains.

FYI, from the click()code of the cmdAddButton I learnt:

name of labeltype
size of labels
# of labels across a sheet (numeric)
inch/10.000:
left margin
label width
top margin
label height
T=origin = metric value
F=origin is in inches

I have to figure out further how to include this in my app but this made sense!
