There is a command I am searching for that gives the name of the validating Domain controller (BDC) that validates your logon. Does anyone know of it? Thanks!

This is stored as the %logonserver% variable.
You can see it either by inputting set on a command line or at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Volatile Environment. The former can obviously be easily piped into a batch file etc.

Might be worth having a look at using Kixtart for your logon scripting - lots of good stuff for the validation splash screen there.
