What changes are required to move 32bit Access/VBA DBs to 64bit Access/VBA?

Hi,
I had submitted a thread and didn't get any responses "thread702-1722504" where we have been having issues with running 32 bit Access 2010 databases on a 64 bit machine. So now we are wondering if anyone thinks it would be a lot of work to actually move to Access 64 bit. We are reading that there will be code changes required and wondered if anyone knew specifically how difficult it would be to move existing applications with many lines of code seemlessly or with minimal pain. "VBA code with Declare statements must be updated" is one thing that we saw but I don't know the specific details.
Thank you.

If I am I may not even know it - We try to use Access's functionality to create what we need and use VBA to export date into reports with specific formatting. We also call other databases and also manually open tables from DB2. Does any of that require Window's APIs?

Per my other post mentioned above:
Have you ever heard of someone running Access 32 bit under a 64 bit OS and receiving the error System Resources Exceeded mentioned in my other post? I happens after it completes one query and starting another query accessijng a table in another database. We have an IT professional who builds all his queries outside of Access in VBS files and only uses Access to call the VBS files and manually manages closing all connections in that code because he says Access 32 bit running in 64 bit machine does not handle that as well as it does running on a 32 bit machine. Seems a bit drastic to rewrite all the queries Access has created just to be able to run them on a 64 bit machine, don't you think?

Appreciate any advice.

I haven't run into any unusual problems running 32 bit Access in Windows 7 (64 bit). I have never heard of someone needing to create script files outside of access.

I have only heard of issues with 64 bit Access.

Interesting, I wonder who would be a good resource for our IT department to contact about this issue? They are new at deploying 64bit and I don't feel comfortable at all code statements like "On Error Resume Next" just to get past a resource error.
Thanks.

I have searched and they attribute that error to running complex queries but it is not complex and they also say to close connections, but I am not sure how you would do that in Access without going out into external code. Also read that the trusted location should include where your databases reside, did that. Also read that a HotFix needed to be applied, did that too. Bottom line, this database runs queries that work fine on Access 2010 on a 32 bit but not on a 64 bit. The 50+ queries append and update 12 different backends - each query is only updating 1 backend at a time. But it makes me wonder if the "closing connections" might be the issue, just not sure how to address that.
