What Can I do "High Parse to execute ratio"

Hello everyone,

I'm running Oracle8i on Redhat Linux and looking at the server logs it shows " High parse to execute ratio".

What can I do to correct this issue.

Try to pin commonly used packages and to explore your sql area for similar but not identical queries (using constants instead of bind variables). You may also try to set CURSOR_SHARING to FORCE in initialisation file and expand your shared pool.
