Well first of all not all PDA's can get on the internet.
The Palm VII(x) does, which is what I use.
I develop apps for WEB and Palm VII's. I use Front Page to develop the WEB pages which are written in VBScript as saved as .ASP. the database is SQL server 7.

On the Palm side I used DPWEB from digital paths and App Forge to create apps. on the palm

here is a link to a DEMO I created in my WEB site

look on sites like tucows.com and look through the browser selection, true not many palm devices can go on the net, (mine can since it has a CompactFlash port [I/II], which will alow me to just get a CF modem, or ethernet) , but least some are availible, more better than others, I usally recomend the textbased one for productivity. (I've heard of some that have greyscale filterdowns of graphicx, even some for the color, experimental of course)

If you have a Psion Revo, 5, 7, Netbook then the secure Browser of choice is Opera.

This is now in Beta for V5.01, which eventualy will be functionally the same as Opera on the PC.

I use both with a Psion 7 and PC. Steve Butterworth

Actually, almost any Palm device with a dialup feature can go on the internet...all you need is a browser or web portal, and a modem...almost any old modem will do. A very fine browser is Palmscape...you can search to find where to download it. Probably the best portal is Avantgo.
