Hi!

I recently fixed the DB2 problem. Now, I am wondering what are those leftover files I saw in the /tmp directory. I'm using the UNIX server.

This files I'm seeing are 'crout****. Those are the dump file which I'm sure is from the DB2 software. Anyone know what it is and what they are for???? Or is it from the UNIX O/S????

Thanks,
Scott F.

The crout* files are usually cron output from the UNIX cron. Check the cron entries for anything that may be creating the files.
Check the owner of the crout* files, logon as that user and run crontab -e to see the cron jobs scheduled to run.
