What are the steps to redirect email to an exchagne server

This is what I would like to accomplish
After I register a domain name what are the steps to get mail example me@mycomapany.com
Is this an account that is provided to me once I register my domain
Then how do I send the mail to the exchange server that I will be creating.

The MX records have to point to port 25 of your domain IP address.
Check the ISP or your Domain registrar to do that. Takes between 4-24 hours to be activated. The solution is out there.
