Its amazing! it works. Thank you very much OzzieGeorge you solved my problem though there's a little bit of a problem that you could advice to solve it. You see, we have different access codes to call for examples from your local extension just dial access code 1 to call a cellphone and dial access code 2 to dial US numbers. Here is the scenario when I tried the DISA he gave a local dialtone then i've press 1 to dial a cellphone and I was able to connect but when i'm trying to access again the DISA number it only gave me a busy tone and I have to re-seat or re-insert the 8COTS card from the PBX to free the DISA channel, it did not somehow releasing the channel after using it. Hope that you could help me again.
Ok this is a more basic problem but not as easily fixed. I am assuming you only have cots on your system as the problem is that once the trunk to trunk connection is established there is no clear down signal when the call terminates. Hence the connection stays up until you pull the card. You will need to approach your carrier to find out if they can provide ROI (reversal on idle) as this could get you round the problem. But if you have a vendor you can get to set this up I would advise using them. If you have ISDN on the system it is simply a matter of preventing a cot to cot connection because ISDN contains the clear down signal.
Ok great that explains everything. I have another option, Is it gonna work if I'll use our E1-R2 that is configured in the Digit Conversion of the PBX. How can I configure one of the channels of the E1 to fall into the DISA?
Can you use these lines for outgoing. If so just set up an access code that only selects that route and it should be OK. Simply create an entry in Cmd 200 that gives access to the ISDN route by using a setting of 1XX where XX is the route number for your ISDN lines. Otherwise as I'm not familiar with the line types and terms you have to describe them in the states, I will have to let someone else take over.
Not to my knowledge as you have to programme the trunk as DISA and you have no way of ensuring you come in on the appropriate channel of the E1. Sorry can't help with the Matworx, suggest NEC.
Its ok, the trunk to trunk has been disregarded and i've set up a Telullar access instead of the trunk with DDD that solves the problem. Thank you very much for your help.
Need some help here, since all license for our softphone(SP20) has been accidentally erased, I had to install the key keeper again but the problem is when I'm registering it to NEC via modem it fails the error is: "code is rejected by the device". I already have the license installed in F80, but in F88 the SP20 is still 000(none). Is there a possible way to register the license without going through the NEC? you now what i mean... bypass?
