I have been asked to write a simple macro in Word to reformat an existing report coming down from the corporate office. After creating a global macro to set the report to landscape and changing the left and right margins it still won't all fit on one line.

There is enough white space on the report that I could very easily spin through each header and/or detail line and remove some blank spaces to make it fit. How do I dimension a variable that will allow me so spin through each line of the document?

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions you can give!

Have a great day!

There are different stories - headers, main documents etc.

Within each story you have paragraphs, words and characters.

If you want to iterate through the entire document you need the WholeStory.

I don't know woprd that well but it should give you enough to interrogate/ use the thumb screws on, the help files.

Thanks, Bryan! That will at least get me started. I appreciate the quick response.
