I just ran out of disk space on the C drive of the server that houses our BAckup Exec software.
While looking to clear some space I noticed that there was 1.8Gb worth of files in the c:\ProgramFiles\Veritas\BackupExec\NT\Data directory, most of which were HTML and XML files beginning BEX0...
Are these log files of some sort ?
If so, can they be deleted without causing any harm ?

They are the jog logs. The bex... files are from 8.6. The HTML/XML files are your job history. So the bex..files you can get rid of. The others just prune some info in your job history tab
