I'm trying to join a computer domain at the place where I work to create a local user account so that I could share the domain's resources such as store my files on our shared hard drive. However, I don't know how to do it in Win XP Home although in my previous computer with Win XP Pro, I could do it by right-clicking on My Computer/Computer Name/Network ID and follow the wizard. XP Home doesn't seem to have that. So does it mean that XP is limited in this? What about My Network Places? Can't I set up an office network or add a network place where I could share files with others? But I don't seem to be able to do that.
So other than upgrading to Pro, can I do it some other way in Home?
