Create a few layers in Photoshop.
Select 'Jump to Image ready'
That will import the files into the animation panel.
Check out tweening and motion - all good fun.

The simplest way to explain animation in Image Ready is imagine all the layers you have in photoshop, all you are doing is choosing Frame 1 and 'turning on' all the layers you want visible then selecting Frame 2 and 'turning on' all the layers you then want visible, creating an animation when played.

The simplest animation is create a coloured box on 1 layer and set it's opacity to 0% then add a frame and set its opacity to 10%, then add a frame and set to 20% all the way up to 100% and play the animation. The box will fade it in. This is only using one layer. Imagine then what can be acheived with multiple layers.

Have a look at one of my simlple image ready animations at
Hope this helps
