Hi All,

Just had my PC finally upgraded to Windows XP and Quark 7.2. When I save my new Quark docs it also put a file in the same folder with the extension .noindex

These files wont open - do they have any use? How do I turn them off?

Thanks in advance!

Steph

Hi Steffieg
Google Quark 7.2 .noindex
Mac OS only: If you turned on Auto Save, saved a folder on a networked server, and kept the file open while someone else opened the project from another Mac, a *.noindex file was erroneously created. This issue has been resolved.
Hope this helps

Thanks IMacQuarker,

Unfortunately thats not the case, I am on a PC, not Mac and I am the only person in the company using Quark. These files are a real nuisance as they are the same file size as the original document and therefore taking up a lot of space, I have to go through deleting them all the time!
