It seems like I've heard this term before but I'm not sure what they are.

Do BCM 400's have the ability to provide FXS ports?

Thanks

Usualy FXS ports are in a router that you connect to for analog lines to the system just like if the phone company provoded analog lines. The BCM doe's not provide FX the router does.

FXS = Foriegn eXchange Station . i.e POT phone port ( analogue extension, supplies dial tone)
FXO = Foriegn eXchange Office . i.e a port that you would connect an analogue exchange line to from your service provider.

On a BCM i would assume you use a GASM module that would
give you 8 anologue extension ports (or 8 FXS ports in your terminology)

Hope this helps
