So here's an interesting question: I've heard that using META tags for keywords and descriptions is kinda, well, an archaic way of performing SEO.
But I've done some research on how to effectively perform SEO and write better keywords/key phrases and most sites still talk about better usage of the META tags (specifically the keywords).
So, my question boils down to: should the META tags be discountiued all together? Or should they *still* be used?
And, if META tags need to go the way of the blink-tag, then what's a better way to use keywords and key phrases?
