I am trying to revive one of my old Pentium 1 Computer. The existing cAVIAR 21200 Western Digital hard drive seems to dying. I cloned it to 10 Gig drive but it refuses to boot up and just quits at " verifying DMI Pool".

Is there any way to have it cloned to a larger drive and make it working? If it not possible, I would like to know where I can buy a this drive[used] at a reasonable price.
Thank you

may have a used drive.

You probably have hit a limit of the BIOS on old computers, can't recognize drives above certain sizes, 2GB, 4.8GB, 8.4GB, etc. The drive maker can furnish a drive overlay software that 'lies' to the BIOS about the drive and gets the full size.

There are at least 4 of these on eBay right now - all less than $10
