werak email wont send but will receive

Hello have installed merak mail server and have configure it up Telstra is my ISP and I have set the mx entries on zoneedit and set the dns entries in Merak to point to the Telstra (ISP) DNS server. I can receive emails from anywhere and can send emails to my ISP email address but if I try to send it outside of the telstra network ie to my work, yahoo, hotmail etc nothing happens the emails just sit in the queue.

Any ideas what this could be I know its not firewall or Proxe cause I can email to my ISP email account which is on the ISP network.

check your SMTP logs. Could be your ISP blocks port 25 or maybe something wrong with your DNS.
