WEP Problem

I have Cisco 1100 AP, Linksys WPC54G and running XP OS. I tried to use 40 bit WEP Mandatory but it doesnot work. When there is no WEP key enable everything works fine but after i configured WEP 40 bit, I cannot get IP address from DHCP.

I use the 40bit key on both AP and WPC54G as "1234567890"..
and transmit key is "1" same as the key index "1".

Anyone Help me please
