Wennsoft / Great Plains?

We are looking very closely at purchasing GreatPlains and Wennsoft to replace an old existing MRP system. We don't want another MRP system. We need "service" and "job costing" software.

Any thoughts or comments from existing users would be very helpful???

Just a thought or two... we've implemented WennSoft before and it does what it does very well. I would not at all consider it an MRP package. Rather, it was very well-suited to Job Cost environments... and those types of shops where the jobs are fairly repetitive.

It takes a little time to set up a job properly, and I don't think you would want to do that if every job were significantly different.
