Well,,, when you take a file down via client access, you can specify the file type to create. If creates it as a .BIF file,,, or excel version. I have never tried coming back from an true excel file, so this is something you would need to test, and see what results you get. But I do know, that when you bring the file down, it creates the file ddescription, and you can specify that when you go back up. Let me know if it works or not.
