Well, i guess i have a serious problem.

I have made a collapsable menu, it works fine in netscape 4.74 and Explorer. Yet it doesnt work in NS 6 nor explorer for macintosh.

I used document.all for explorer and document.layers for netscape. I guess there's the problem, but i have no idea.

The menu is build up from stylesheet id's and classes. The code can be found at nederland.testje.nl.
It is in dutch, but the code is readable. Please help, i ran outa hope...

Yeah, well, erhm, ok... I'm busy trying to teach myself JavaScript, C++, Java and other webrelated stuff.

Netscape 6 is a complete rewrite, and they've taken out support for the layer tag. Therefore, document.layers is false for Netscape 6. Unfortunately, I'm I don't know the correct method for checking for Netscape 6, short of using the navigator object. At this point, Netscape 6 identifies itlself as Netscape 5.0

Thanx, i rewrote my php so all mac's dont get the collapsable menu, but only get it collapsed with no javascript. Fortunatly after a lot of debugging the menu works.
Netscape 6 will still be a problem, and i dont know either how to fix it, but when i figure it out ill tell

Thanx again Nick
