Hi

Can anyone tell me why the recorded announcement for welcome message used on a GH-group does not play when the group is called from an external line? When calling the group number from an internal line, it is playing ok
Software is TSW (Bc13). I am using standard GH-group an RA for the announcements.

there are some ASPAC's involved:

look at ASPAC 116, 138 and 147 in Alex

Ok, her is the aspap's:
<ASPAP:pARNUM=116;
APPLICATION SYSTEM PARAMETERS
PARNUM PARVAL
116 27
END
<ASPAP:pARNUM=138
;
APPLICATION SYSTEM PARAMETERS
PARNUM PARVAL
138 5
END
<ASPAP:pARNUM=147;
APPLICATION SYSTEM PARAMETERS
PARNUM PARVAL
147 1

It looks like the recorded announcement given to both extensions and did-trunks are selected, the false b-answer is on, and sendt to the public exhange after 5 secs.

The welcome message should be given when a caller arrives the group, regardless if there is free members, or if there is queue of callers.

And it seems a bit strange that the welcome message should be given to internal callers and not to external....

I would set the following ASPAC's to:

ASPAC:pARNUM=116,PARVAL=63;
Y;
ASPAC:pARNUM=138,PARVAL=5;
Y;
ASPAC:pARNUM=139,PARVAL=4;
Y;
ASPAC:pARNUM=147,PARVAL=1;
Y;
ASPAC:pARNUM=161,PARVAL=8191;
Y;

Ok, the aspac 161 was the solution.
Thanks, runlun

ASPAC#161 is always the solution...;-)
