Wel done Avaya, 9.1 new install has inhibit off-switch forward/transfer turned on by default!!!

It took me 30 minutes of searching why I could not transfer an external call!
This option was always turned off by default but not anymore.

Almost certainly part of the "improved security" they keep talking about...

Incidentally, if you upgrade to 9.1 it keeps the previous settings.

I know . That is why I did not understand and tried a lot of other options.
In the end I started looking at the basics and saw this option being enabled.
The docs showed me that is it by design now.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

It would be nice if Avaya had a cheat sheet of these new default options/tweaks/etc... Release notes only go so far.

There should be a pop up on the first admin login:

"New settings & features in this release:..."

Me too, I felt stupid.

It also inhibits using the Twinning button to transfer an existing call to my cell. Very annoying. Embarrassing too when I'm training a customer on a feature I've used since 4.2.
